Words cannot express how much Matt and I adore Jake and Courtney! When Matt and I met Courtney and her mom at Starbucks a few months ago, I instantly loved them! I loved hearing about her family, how she and Jake met and every sweet detail of their rustic themed wedding.

Jake is in school to be an electrical engineer and Courtney is in school to be a nurse. They’ve have known each other since they were in 6th grade and have always been best friends. They’ve been through every milestone together and now they will be getting married in October! When they were 11 they gave each other ring pops and said that they would marry one other, but it wasn’t until a few years later that Courtney realized her feelings for Jake. He had always loved her but they both dated other people. While she was at the beach with her family in 2010, she finally realized her feelings, texted Jake and they’ve been together ever since.  He proposed to her at the Melting Pot when a plate was brought to the table that read “will you marry me?” with two chocolate covered strawberries and a rice krispy treat that had a ring pop on it! I love their sweet story!

We met them at Frank Liske Park in Concord which is a little far but I really adore photographing here. There’s something about the feel of the trees and the romantic vibe it gives off. We loved spending the afternoon with these two and cannot wait for their wedding!
